​The Jubilee District Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit (A&E) in Hammanskraal annually sees more than 30 000 patients who require emergency medical care. However, over the years the infrastructure was no longer adequate to service the growing need of those depending on the facility for services. 

The A&E Unit underwent major refurbishment and the Gauteng MEC for Health and Wellness, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko will on Thursday, 10 August 2023 officially open the unit. Jubilee Hospital serves people from Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga due to its location.
