MEC for Health and Wellness, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko together with members of the Gauteng Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will tomorrow, Wednesday, 14 December 2022 embark on a Festive Season Safety Awareness Campaign in Mshongoville Informal Settlement, Atteridgeville, Tshwane.
The awareness campaign will commence with a 3km walk at an open field at corner Schuveberg and Mmale Streets proceeding to the point where a patient was recently killed in an Ambulance by community members, and back to the starting point where there will be a community address.
The Gauteng EMS will use this opportunity to outline its festive season readiness plans, as well as raise awareness on the ongoing paramedic attacks as part of efforts of strengthening relations with community members
