​The Gauteng Department of Health (GDoH) wishes to confirm that power supply has been restored at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital following the power outage caused by a burnt Feederboard at the Ridge Substation. The power supply was restored by the City Power team this morning around 10h30. 

The facility had to activate contingency measures and was running on backup generators since on Sunday, 21 April following power outage which affected several areas of Johannesburg.
