The Gauteng Department of Health wishes to inform the public that Ekangala, Dark City and Rethabiseng clinics are currently closed due to ongoing service delivery protest in the area.
Health personnel have been unable to access these clinics because of blockaded roads with stones and burning tyres.
The service delivery protest started on Wednesday, 21 September 2022 over water and electricity outages.
Members of the community are advised to use their nearest health facilities.
The Department appeals to the community members to allow health workers access to the clinics to provide critical services.
