Premier Lesufi and MEC Chiloane to officially launch Mayibuye Primary

School Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and MEC for Education Matome Chiloane will, on Wednesday, 7 February 2024, launch the Mayibuye Primary School in Tembisa. The construction of Mayibuye Primary School was completed in 2017 however, its opening was delayed due to structural challenges. 

The Gauteng government has been fast-tracking the structural handover of the school to ensure that it is in use and that learning takes place. The much anticipated opening of Mayibuye Primary is set to benefit over 2000 learners in Mayibuye informal settlement.
