​Paeditric Surgical Out Patient and Parental sleep-over clinic is a partnership between Gauteng Department of Health, global healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and a non-profit organisation Surgeons for Little Lives. 
The clinic has individual cubicles where doctors are able to consult with patients while ensuring their privacy and dignity.  It includes a waiting room that is large enough to adequately accomodate patients and their caregivers and which has appropriate ablution facilities.  
Above the clinic, there is an accomofation facility that enable parents to live-in at Baragwanath Hospital for the duration of their child's admission. The facility include sleeping, ablution, laundry and kitchen facilities.
