​Gauteng Premier, David Makhura, will on Tuesday, 25 February 2020 deliver the State of the Province Address (SOPA) at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU).
Premier Makhura will, during his address, highlight the Gauteng Provincial Government's priorities for the year ahead paying a particular focus on the economy, jobs, education, public transport, housing, health care and safety and security.
The Premier will also unveil the Growing Gauteng Together (GGT2030) plan and provide feedback on progress made on the commitments set out by the provincial government since the start of the 6th administration.
Following the delivery of the SOPA, the premier will address a public meeting at the Mabopane Indoor Sports Centre.
