MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela led a Departmental delegation to attend the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) Global Public Transport Summit held in Barcelona, Spain between 04-07 June 2023.
The delegation comprised the Head of Department and members of the Transport Authority of Gauteng (TAG). 
TAG is a provincial public entity charged with the responsibility to undertake strategic transport and integrated planning; promote development of an integrated and accessible public transport network and regulate public transport fares in the province, amongst others.
UITP is a passionate champion of sustainable urban mobility and the only worldwide network to bring together all public transport modes. It boasts 1,800 member companies from over 100 countries. Members are public transport operators and authorities, policy decision-makers, research institutes and the public transport supply and service industry.
The four-day summit is the world's gathering place for public transport professionals to share ideas, innovate and make meaningful connections. It also consists of an immersive experience with a diverse programme of world-class congress sessions and an exhibition full of the latest innovations, solutions and products.
