A 28-year Nthabiseng Khumalo and her 18 months old twins joined Lakeview residents to attend Ntirhisano at Ennerdale Sport Centre near Lenasia.

I then told them that as they could see that I was the only person without a house in my street”.“My husband is the only one working and struggling to make ends meet with his little salary where he has to make sure that he maintains us here and his family back home. I rely on my children’s grants to buy them diapers, baby formula and I plait hair to generate extra cash”, added Kumalo.Despite the hot weather and babies around her, Khumalo was able to visit few stalls, searching for information and collecting pamphlets. She said she was impressed by the meeting because it was informative, and people were able to interact with government officials and as residents were able to get information on government services and assistance that they can get.Khumalo applauded the initiative and pleaded with government to continue hosting such meetings as they inspire hope and indicate that government still cares.
