As part of Gauteng government’s efforts to expand the vaccination programme, various sites will be operational over the weekend and accept walk-ins whether people are registered on the Electronic Vaccine Data System (EVDS) or not.
The vaccination sites that will be opened in the province over the weekend include
Chris Hani Multi-Purpose Centre, Houghton West DriveHatzolah Medical Rescue 2 in Johannesburg.
Mabopane Indoor Sport Centre, Suurman Hall, Mandela Hall, Atteridgeville Hall, Olievenhoutbosch Hall, Mamelodi West Hall, Stanza Bopepa Hall and Bronkhorstspruit Hall in Tshwane.
Phola Park CHC, Nokuthela Ngwenya CHC and Christian Family Church South Africa (CFCSA). Sedibeng region two sites, President Hyper Shopping Centre in Sharpeville, and Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre in the Ekurhuleni region.
Gauteng government encourages the public to play their part and get vaccinated when their time comes, so that the society and all sector of the economy can resume to their full capacity.​​
