​Call for Proposals/Business Plans for NPO Sector for 2025/26 Financial Year
The Gauteng Department of Social Development (GDSD) in its resolve to Re-organize the State-Civil Society model for delivery of social development services, through the GDSD Institutional Realignment Project (IRP), is calling for interested and qualifying Provincial and Regional NPOs to respond to this Request/Call for Proposals. To be considered, the NPO must be registered as a social services NPO under the NPO Act, 71 of 1997.
Funding of NPOs for the 2025/2026 FY will be informed by the following conditions (mainly informed by areas that the Department, with its current capacity, cannot cover efficiently or at all.
The following documents are required from applicants who wish to be considered for funding: 
Funding applications/Business Plan (template available on the Department's website and designated reception areas at Regional Offices or can be requested from Nono.Yende@gauteng.gov.za; 
Certified copies of the supporting documents including the NPO certificate, compliance letter, Programme registration certificate and/or any other required documents); 
Signed, stamped copy of the NPOs constitution (by National DSD) and list of approved board members as per the National DSD NPO database; 
Proposals received after the closing date as well as proposals received via fax/email will not be considered/accepted
The deadline for submission of funding applications is: 30 October 2024 at 15h00
