It is Africa’s flagship Smart Mobility Conference attended
by industry leaders, media and operators. The theme is “Growing Gauteng
Together Through Smart Mobility” and its main purpose is to promote smarter
mobility, investment, smart public transport and infrastructure. 
Event is scheduled for 1-3 October 2023 at the Gallagher
Convention Centre, in Midrand, Johannesburg.
The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport and its
entities (Gautrain Management Agency and g-FleeT Management) are amongst the
sponsors.
Meanwhile, this year’s October Transport Month campaign covers
a number of topics related to the mobility industry. These include Smarter
Mobility Africa Summit; Provincial Transport Management Centre launch; Commuter
Conference; Launch of Number Plate Prototype/Gauteng Licensing Conference; Launch
of Smart Licensing Centres and School Road safety launch, amongst other events.
